  9. For the person who was looking for the world's best -- these are from my
  10. grandmother.

  12. Cream:  1 cup Crisco
  13.         3/4 cup sugar
  14.         3/4 cup light brown sugar
  15. Add:    2 beaten eggs
  16.         1 tsp vanilla flavoring
  17. Sift together and add:
  18.         1 3/4 cup flour with
  19.         1/2 tsp salt
  20.         1 tsp baking soda
  21. Add to creamed mixture:
  22.         2/3 cup oatmeal (quick cooking)
  23.         1 cup nuts (optional)
  24.         1 pkg chocolate chips (I use 6 ounce package)

  26. Drop by teaspoonsful onto baking sheet.  Bake at 350F, 12-15 minutes.
